The large stars from the kit are self-assembled from the given pyramids. The pyramids are made of plastic. The star is assembled by means of plastic clamps. For lighting, a 220V LED lamp with a thick black cable is used.

Energy consumption, costs

These Herrnhut Stars are powered by an LED bulb of about 5 watts to save electricity. For the price of 1 kWh (about 0.3 CHF) you can make a star shine for over 200 hours.
